Synthetic cryolite
Physical and chemical properties: Cryolite is a crystalline white powder. Slightly soluble in water, with a density of 2.95-3.0, and a melting point of about 1000°C. It is easy to absorb moisture and can be decomposed by strong acids such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid to form the corresponding aluminum and sodium salts.
Uses: Mainly used as flux for electrolytic aluminum, flux for crops, enamel glaze, wear-resistant filler for cryolite, resin, and rubber, electrolyte for ferroalloy boiling steel and ingredients for grinding wheels, etc. The cryolite produced by the company has a main content of ≥99%, particularly low impurities, a pure white color, a burning loss (550℃) of 2.0% max, a fineness of -325mesh (min), good fluidity, adjustable molecular ratio, and can meet different production needs of users at different stages.
